Default Evo 8 buschur 2.4 timing help

Hi everyone new on this forum. Iíve owned my evo since 2006 and am on my second build last motor lost oil pressure out at California speed way. So I went ahead and bought a new buschur 2.4 and am all set prime the oil pump and throw on the timing belt. Currently Iím unable to purchase adjustable cam gears but was told by nick I could run with the stock gears. Iíve search the interwebs and only got conflicting opinions
Would someone please give me a clearer explanation of exactly how I set the timing Iím using Kelford 272ís
    Thank you for your help

If it the same as a 2g which I'm sure it is, the block is 6mm taller so it uses up more of the belt and can put your timing off. Last one I did, I used the small idler pulley from a subaru and modified it to fit as it's 3mm shy of half the size of the dsm idler pulley. This allowed me to not need 2.4 gears and retain factory timing covers. Also timed like a normal 2.0
