    Default speed density parts help

    another noob here... my friend just got an evo 9 with the factory ecu with a reflash and its on speed density.. we noticed it has a cable running from the factory mass airflow sensor wiring harness right to the IAT sensor thats in his upper intercooler pipe. does any1 know who sells this wire as it seems to make for a nice clean install as i would like to go this route on my evo8... again evo noob here sorry if this is a dumb question... thanks guys

    spoolin up makes one. at the bottom of this page.

    Or you can use the fuel temp sensor with tephrav7 and not have to have any extra wires.

    was wondering this too. I have mine runnig on sd with no iat but i should add one.

    Dont feel its needed, the fuel temp sensor mimics the intake air temp values almost exactly like stock which keeps the computer happy.

    What about warm starts in cold climates(garaged cars), or vice versa for summer(AC)?

    This is the only condition I have heard of a problem.
