My car has been sitting in my garage for a little over 3 years. I finally got around to messing with it...too many deployments. When the car showed up at the shipping station it wouldn't go into gear and made a loud screeching noise when started.
I took the rubber cover off the fork and a piece of the throw out bearing came out. I think they took it for a drive when I dropped it off to be shipped out here. So I know the throw out bearing has to be replaced. Is there something else that could have possibly been screwed up? Remember I wasn't there when it broke, it showed up inoperable. The clutch was replaced a few years back and has maybe 500 miles on it. When I buy a new throw out bearing does it come with a new retaining clip? Thanks.
