I want to add some information to this sale. Those of you that know me know I am a huge weight savings fanatic.

I've run quite a few different brands of rotors at this point. As far as weight goes vs price, there is no lighter rotor on the market than these.

The stock front EVO8-9 rotor weighs in at 21.35#'s
The stock rear EVO8-9 rotor weighs in at 14.6#'s

These rotors weigh in at only 15.5#'s for the front and 11.4#'s for the rear.

I have personally run these on the front of the RS now for about 4 years, minus the short time I had the ultra light Giro's on the front.

I don't think you can beat the pricing vs. the weight on these rotors and I happy as hell with them on all four corners of my car.

would one have to worry about these warping during road course events like the girodisc ultra lights?

Well it would depend on how "one" would be driving! haha Just messing you "one/you".

My personal opinion is these will not warp like the Giro Disc race rotors and these can be turned, unlike the Giro race rotors. Now, I have heard of quite a few guys who use cross drilled rotors having them crack starting at the drilled holes. I would not recommend them for a car doing a lot of road racing, only because of the cases I have seen on other cross drilled rotors. If you are need a light set of rotors for road racing then I recommend the standard Giro discs still.

I'm going to do a write up tomorrow on some changes I made to my RS, they have COMPLETELY blown my mind!

Let me know what you are going to do with the car and I will set you up with some killer pads too. I need to know how much noise/dust you can tolerate and the primary use of the car etc.

How is the noise / dust on the hawk dtc30 pads you are running now? I might as well replace my pads too when I do rotors all around. Do we just need to call up the shop and place a order for this pricing? How long is this price good for? thx

Yes, just call the shop to get the deal on the rotors. I drove the car just long enough to bed the brake pads. There was quite a bit of dust on the wheels after doing so but I don't know if it was from using the brakes so often and hard while I was driving it or if it's going to be a normal amount of dust. I personally would think it will get less once they are bedded and I'm not using the brakes so often/hard. I heard one squeal from mine when I first started bedding them, after that I didn't hear anything else.

David, i would like to get in on a set of these when i come back..along with pads..should be back sometime next month. I plan on getting some suspension/braking mods done this winter as well as more weight savings. I'll give you a call once i return.
