    Default TC-SST questions

    I'm considering the SSP 500 package and had a couple questions.

    I've been hearing that the using the stock Mitsubishi trans fluid rather than the SSP fluid has given better results and longevity. Any comment on this?

    Are you able to install the kit at your shop or would I need to find another shop? I live east of you in Avon, Oh.

    Todd,

    The ssp 500 package is pointless until someone cracks these TCU's. I put the 400 hp clutches, cooler and pan on my car. 22,000 miles and got the temp sensor code which is bad. I'm pretty sure running SSP's fluid had something to do with it but I cannot confirm. Do yourself a favor and find a tuner who is really good with the SST and don't crack it open until you have to.
