now im building this car to be a fun street car and take it to the track on the weekends. the problem im having now is i keep breaking shift forks. i can have the trans out of the car in an hour and taking apart in about 30-45. I have had to fix it a few times. I'm looking to get a built trans this winter im stuck between TRE, and Shep. So far with the 50trim i have went 12.9 on a street tune. Im hoping to have a full tune and hit low 12's high 11's before winter.
Some things id like to do are
larger cams I'm thinking about getting some dsm grave yard 274's but i havent heard anything about them.
fuel cell and one large fuel pump and go corn.
a sheet metal intake.
better exhaust mani with a exturnal waste gate and a 02 housing.
I NEED A TRANSMISSION!! lol.
I will be tuning the car with the help with a friend of mine who has a 10 sec 16g auto talon.
I have done most of the work on the car except the motor it was in the car when i bought it so im going to use it till it goes. Over the winter I will be buying a trans or building one with jacks trans parts.
