need some help with my new build
hey guys, ive got a 97 eclipse gsx with everything rebuilt, 6 bolt swap, tail bov, gm mas airflow, 550cc injectors, 190 fuel pump, streetgate wastegate with dump, just a 14b for now, intercooler, ross 8.5 to 1 pistions, 1g rods, 264 cams, dsmlink v3.
i bought the car about a year and a half ago from a kid in Columbus who blew 3 different motors and put some lambo doors and was ruining the car. we trailered the car up to akron and began tearing it down for the new built 6 bolt and to replace the lambo doors. and getting everything done i drove the car for about 3 months and it overheated and warped the head, this past winter i have taken it all apart, got a new head and did things right this time spending way more money buying the right things.
after a long winter and half my summer the car is fired up and i ran it down the street to dial it in, however going into boost/high rpms would cause the car to break up and buck, at low rpms i could drive the car up and down the street no problem. so i put the car away for the night, the next day i started it up and it idles nice however when i tap the accelerator the rpms drop and if the accelerator is held down the car dies, the service light is now on and the code is "volume air malfuntion" so i got a spare gm mas airflow and replace it, nothing. how could this be i just drove the car?
anything helps thank you very much.

Sounds like you need to do a boost leak test. Usually a loose line or something silly causes this.
