evo 8 harness question...pictures inside

Ok so since I bought this car almost 5 years ago I keep coming across things the previous owner half assed.
While wiring up my wideband (aem) to my stock ecu (pin 75) it looks like my harness (pin 75 and 76, which both should be solid white but 75 is yellow and taped over) had been hacked up and 3 different words were spliced together with black wires...any insight on whether this is supposed to be like this?

You know, I was wiring in my aem uego last week and noticed the same thing on my wiring harness. I assumed the previous owner hacked it...guess not.
