Drove the talon up to a track rental friday at Thompson Raceway Park looking to finally get a few shakedown runs in since last year. Turned out to be a pretty decent day at the track. Good times with good friends and there even was some loud ass black cherry 1g there....hmm
Here's the slip from my quickest ET and MPH of the day:
60ft: 1.51
330: 4.52
1/8: 6.88
1/8: 103.00
1000': 8.898
1/4: 10.584
1/4: 136.91
Best 60ft of the day was a 1.43 but the map sensor jiggled loose mid track and killed the car. The suspension has been a bitch to get working correctly, I have a few things I'm going to try out for the next time out. All in all the car made the trip to and from the track in one piece and also personal bests in all categories.
Here's a video of the day (with a little **** tease at the end ha!)

Gotta thank Curt Brown for the wicked cylinder head/porting and Wayne Largent (sslaser) for all there help again on this heap!
Also a big thanks for Dave and the guys at Buschur for parts that freaking work! Picked up power everywhere with the BR fabbed intake manifold and tune on BRs dyno. Just like any other car with BR parts, the results stand for themselves where it matters...at the track. Car went a best of 130mph last year, this year with the intake and a tune on a "real" dyno the car picked up damn near 7mph on a basically almost maxed out 16g turbo!
Just need another track day to get the 1-2 gear gremlins down (lack of traction, bogging) the ET should drop considerably.
See everyone at the shootout!
