Default STM's Ricer makes it to the 8 Second Club!!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEGdw...&feature=share

First pass of the evening: 8.922@165.28

We thought about just packing her up, mission accomplished, but what the heck, let's see what more she has in her!

    Second pass: 8.817@167.59

    Seriously? 167 MPH?

So Emery heads down the track yet again, but this time, the sun has set and you can see in the video they get a little wiggly just past the 60'. Once the sun is down, I guess the fun stops, but he still ran a 9.146@164.98!

Everyone here at STM wants to thank all our friends and STM family who have helped us reach this goal, and especially our sponsors:

    Buschur Racing
    TRE
    Driven Innovations
    FIC
    Precision Turbo

I think Ricer has a bit more left in her, and we have a whole summer left of racing!!

Nice I knew it was only a matter of time when you guys ran that 9.06 at the sport compact race, I was hoping the 8s would come that day but this works too I guess.

Very Badass! Congratulations. That Buschur engine revving to the moon in 4th gear sounds so sick in the in - car shot in the video! What rpm are you at when you cross the traps?

Great job you guys/gals! Absolutely fantastic, the potential is nuts as there is so much left in the car. Looking at the time slip blows my mind, when Kevin ran the 9.04 in the Bish it was with a 5.88 1/8th mile. Your car is pulling like a freight train up top!! Very glad to be a part of it, I'm always here if you guys need me.

    Shawna, fantastic pictures..................AGAIN!

Going that fast on a 67mm turbo would be pretty sick! We are not very far off now. If we can get a really good day at the track its certainly possible.

I think you are doing it the right way Emery. Getit done with the smallest turbo possible. We went too big and it made the car very hard to drive and control. I think our best was 8.88 with a GT45 and then 8.92 with the HTA88. 167 mph on the HTA88 and 172 with the 45r. Our biggest mistake was spending 17k on the four link and rear end, we never got the car close after that.
