Nice pics! I'm definitely going to have to get back into autocrossing. Hopefully get a few events in locally & then be ready for the Shootout.

What was the 60' on that? Looks more like a sub 1 second time than any of Blackbird's launches.

I'll second that! I can imagine that it'll pick up a tenth or two easy with a simple stiffer suspension..

That launch is bad ass, I wouldn't put money on it going quicker with a suspension change. The car is doing what it should, squating and hooking.

I highly doubt it was sub 1 second, but I could be wrong.

Yes, I would have to agree.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be near as fun to watch.

I would love to see some slow-mo video of that thing launching. It looked like there was no shocks at all on the thing the way it would bounce back and forth on the bump stops.

That car is a 68HTA not a 16g. Also it was not so nice under the hood. Very hacked up everywere. I was a little disapointed with it. I have been reading about the car on Link forums. I was also hopeing he would run DST at the shootout. But this was the cars last passes on the 68HTA he said.
Do you own a EVO? No I do not. Then what the hell are you doing here!

I think the hack job might actually make it more impressive. It's definately ugly under the hood, ebay fmic, and still pulling those times. I don't think there would be much gain in the 60ft region, it's definately hooking and getting, but with the suspension rocking like that I'm sure there is forward momentum lost.

So, ok, ... I should have said 10's stock appearing....lol.... I agree with Dave on the suspension, I wouldnt change a dam thing, except unplug the wastegate line and let it EAT..

It may have been ghetto, but NO ONE could look under the hood and say , " Oh yeah, thats tens", like you could when you see an evo with a FMIC, and slicks...lol... Throw an interior in there, on street tires, and look the fuck out.....

Great pictures blackout!! I love the one with all the smoke. Its funny cause I can never see the staging lights after my burnout. I always have to wait for the smoke to clear.

If that 1g with the nasty launch is porpoising then I retract my statement about not changing the suspension on it. If it stays planted like it is, smoothly then I'd leave it.

John Force ain't got shit on Joe's burnouts! haha
