    Default Custom Powdercoating/Videos of processes

Threw this together quick so you can see all of the colors I have done a little easier. I know it's nothing amazing by any means but hopefully it helps you guys out a bit instead of digging through every picture I have.

    Hanging Rack:

I'm also finishing up my oven build where I retrofitted a refridgerator so I can do bigger parts and be able to do wheels, engine blocks, etc much easier now.

I can always meet you halfway to save you some time and money, wouldn't be a problem at all! I have a guy coming from Legendary Wraps somewhere in Ohio which is about 4 hours away also and I'm meeting him halfway to do his EVO X wheels and valve cover.

I just had the entire undercarriage of my first Gen powdercoated by Bonehead Performance in Warminster PA very satisfied with the outcome. They are a father and son business and they are car guys. Price was fair.

From what I have seen they do good work also and seem to be quite busy with their coatings as well.

Out with the old oven, went from all of this mess of wiring...

    To this:

    WOOT!

This will be cleaned up, I still need to add a fan and light to it yet though and it will go in a sheet metal box.

    Complete!

    TE37's in Mirror Orange:

Sorry for the cell pictures, need to find my digital camera!!

I've had a lot of people ask me over the past 2 months if I'm even powdercoating anymore or why I've been slow getting back to people lately. Truth is, I don't sit on the forums daily like I use to, I've been busting my ass getting the new oven up to par so that I can expand further. I haven't taken on more than 5 orders in the past month because I was so backed up with work so I only took on small jobs. After a lot of living and learning I got the oven working and have done quite a few sick parts out of it over the past few days.

For those that don't know, I made an oven out of a refrigerator. This took a ton of work/research but in the end was worth the effort. Here are some pictures with parts in it:

Matte Black brackets out of a DSM:

Safety Yellow guard for one of the powder metal companies locally:

    Done:

Sorry for the cell phone pictures, I didn't have time to grab the P&S to get some halfway decent pictures since I've been running around the shop like a madman.

Here are some quick pictures of other parts I have finished up recently:

    Triple Bronze:

    Candy Red:

HOC Blue to match the TE37 mag blue:

    Matte Black Posts/Triple Bronze tops:

So if you made it this far what I am going to be doing starting Tuesday May 31st I will be taking orders again. Until the following Tuesday I will be offering valve covers for $55+shipping coated any color you would like and free letter polishing if you desire. Your core must be sent for this offer to be valid.

The biggest thing that frustrated me during this downtime is that I told people 1 week for their parts to be on their way back and it ended up taking 2-3 weeks so from now on for every day I'm late on the date quoted I will be refunding 5% back per day your order is late from the day quoted.

If you guys have any questions, etc PM me or email me at detectivecoating@yahoo.com I will be out of town from the 25th until the 30th so response will be minimal until then but I WILL get back to every person.

Thanks for your time and once again I apologize to those that I could not take orders from or held up with the return time.

Wish I had time to take some nice pictures for you guys but 14-16 hours a day doesn't leave much free time for me.

Coolest thing I've done lately that I have been wanting to do for a while is a 2G AWD Trans case:

This case is off to Tim Zimmer at TMZ Performance One of the only people that I would ever let touch my transmission

I have also picked up a production job with Projector Ceiling Mounts Direct Some samples of the raw material; hope to have coated pictures up later this week.
