    Default STM's 2011 Evo X

The time has come for STM to step up to the newest Evolution...

As much as I hate to admit it, the 4g63 is done. I don't think it's coming back. Luckily the planet is saturated with enough of them to keep us quite busy for a good while. But, alas, it's time to move on.

This specific car was located in New Jersey with the right color, package and options, so we were lucky enough to go pick it up in the enclosed trailer before the dealer even had the chance to detail it.

We have been contemplating the X for a while, but they just didn't "pop" out to us. This new 2011 features all the awesomeness of an Evo... plus heated leather seats and a sunroof... because let's face it, the beauty of evolution itself is to adapt, expand and be greater than before.

Every build we do, we want MORE. More power, more handling, more luxury, more features. We want it all... and with a platform like this, why can't we have it?

^^ HAHA! You're absolutely right! We aren't quite sure yet. I will tell you though, this car is really nice. I haven't had a chance to drive it, other than back it off the trailer and into the shop, but after rubbing Adam's leather care into the seats and giving it a bath, we are a little better acquainted. It's not a 4g63 car, so it's going to take some time to bond, but I'm warming up to her.

I did drive the same car, but in black on the street, but not for very long. Some cars have serious blind spots and I can't see what I'm doing. I'm very comfortable in the VIII, so only time will tell.

Thanks! We would like to get it on the scales and get a base dyno number maybe this weekend. It's been really busy and customer cars come first.

This project is going to be a very well-rounded car. We will definitely use it to develop new parts for the community and see where it goes from there. But no worries, it will not become an abomination of road-racing heritage and become a drag car like Ricer.

    After a good cleaning...

FIRST MOD: Nokya Yellow Fog Lights

STM sells them and we have a bunch in stock. I will update the Evo X section and get them there too, but the VIII-IX-X all take the same part number.

I think it's safe to say they will not affect the stock dyno numbers or weight once we get it on the scale. More updates coming soon.

Did the '11 Xs get a power bump over previous models or is this about normal for one?

^^ I'll let someone else answer that because i have no idea, sorry.

There's a video link to STM Tuned Facebook. I tried to get a good angle of the wheels spinning, and I definitely like them more and more. I don't have a problem with the tire size at all. I like slammed cars and I think this will settle nicely on those wheels once we get some suspension ordered.
