Default 91 Eable Talon, Jump start gone bad... Need some help, no dash power now.

So my dome light sat on for a couple days and douched my car battery. Ice freaking cold out so there is probably no saving it but I had to go to work so I asked for a jump.

My friend looked up the damn jumper cables backwards to my battery, which is trunk mounted. In his defense my terminals are not exactly black/red like most but DAMNIT, they battery is marked.

Anyway oddly enough nothing really sparked out of the ordinary but when I tried to start my car i noticed my starter was not engaging at all but it sounded like a turbo fan spinning, I was like wtf did you hook the cables up backwards, it sounds like its got reverse polarity.

    Sure as hell did.

Anyway we got the car started but NOTHING on my dash lights up now. The cluster is dead, the radio is dead, my Wideband is dead, all the lights on my Autometer gauges are dead.

One thing to note, all the gauges get there power from the same source as the rest of the dash I'm sure.

Anyway I checked all the fuses UNDER the dash. I checked all those those big ones under the hood and the 4 at the battery leads under the hood. I checked the fusible link but obviously it wouldn't have started is that was popped but I didn't SEE anything blown.

What am I over looking here? This is my daily driver and I work 45 minutes from home. I need help ASAP!

    Thanks.
