Not shame on Ford. The problem will get rectified. Shame on GM and Chrysler for being bailed out with our tax dollars. Shame on GM for having the new AWD Turbocharged Regal built completely in Germany AFTER being bailed out with our tax dollars.

Yeah, shame on them for being in the position to need to be bailed out, but I give Chrysler(Fiat) a lot of respect for paying back the loans, and paying them back early.
Now GM needs to get off their ass, and quit making comments that we should be taxed more on gas.
Chrysler announced the repayment of $7.6 billion in U.S. and Canadian government loans, in full, more than six years ahead of schedule. The company paid $5.9 billion to the US Treasury and $1.7 billion to the Canadian authorities to retire loans granted in June 2009.
Chrysler had borrowed $6.7 billion; an additional $1.8 billion was paid in interest and “additional consideration.” Another $2 billion lent to Chrysler under George W. Bush remains part of the liabilities of “Old Carco,” the former Chrysler Group.
The new Chrysler Group has repaid, in total and including past payments, $6.5 billion to the US and $2.0 billion to Canada.
“Less than two years ago, we made a commitment to repay the U.S. and Canadian taxpayers in full and today we made good on that promise,” said Sergio Marchionne, Chief Executive Officer, Chrysler Group LLC. “The loans gave us a rare second chance to demonstrate what the people of this Company can deliver and we owe a debt of gratitude to those whose intervention allowed Chrysler Group to re-establish itself as a strong and viable carmaker.
No, my trans is fine, the bolts in the pressure plate actually backed off.

These transmissions are a lot tougher that what you guys are thinking or what that article is leading you to believe. I have been Launching mine at 6k rpms with my MT et streets all year(guessing close to 35-40 track passes) and pulling 1.60-1.64 60fts, spraying nitrous off the clutch switch and wot shifting every gear while running consistant 11.2's without tearing anything up yet. Thats more than my buddies 03' mach 1 could ever imagine handling. He went through like 6 transmissions in the first 2 years of owning that car since it was brand new doing exactly what Im doing. And lets not get started on how weak the Ls1 transmissions are.
when the customer goes to get tuned and the tuner says who sold you this POS cam or intake or FMIC it wont ever be my name said..-Mike@awdmotorsports

These new Mustangs are quite the car. Got to drive a 5-liter 6-speed a few weeks ago ant it was a BLAST.![]()
It does suck that parts are being sourced from China... but really, what isn't? I think China actually owns the US thanks to how mismanaged the .gov is and all their "trade" policies.IDK.. sucks, but I still try to buy US made items whenever possible.
Nice car, tho.. it's fun!
Definatly would whoop on my 'old 5 point oh with its 215 ponies.![]()
