Let's do a track day, october 9th, nelson ledges!!

Hey guys,

The end of the year is here and I don't know about you all but I'm not ready for any freaking snow!

Nelson Ledges is having it's last Fun Days of the year coming up next week.

I'd like to get out on the road course one more time before the end of the year and it's a fun track to run at.

It's just an open lapping day, no instructors, basic safety rules, like helmet, seat belts, long pants. Other than that it's run your car until you wear it out.

The price is great too. It's $130 typically but I spoke to the track and if we can get at least 10 drivers (two or more guys can share one car, but each have to pay) they will let us do it for $100 per driver.

Date is Saturday, October 9th. Track opens at 8am, racing starts at 10 am and runs until 4 pm. We can all find a place to eat and hang out afterwards.

Post here if you are interested. If you've never tried it, this is the time, it's a freaking blast. I waited until I was 40 to give road racing a try and let me tell you, I waited WAY to long!!

Man I would love to go! I need to get my new tires mounted first and also fix a pesky oil leak. I don't know if I can get that done in time. I've been wanting to make it out there all summer but haven't had the chance. How are they at tech inspection?

I don't need confirmation, just show up and tell them you are with Buschur Racings group. Ifnwe get 10'guys we gentian for $100, if not it's $130.

Anyone who's not busy come on out for this. Hell we can turn it into a mini-meet for the end of the year if nothing else. I figure after we are done for the day we can find somewhere to get some dinner and a few beers too.

Remember also, if you are racing, tell them you are with the Buschur Racing group so if we get 10 guys we can run for $100.

Hey David, I will try to make it out in the new GRm challenge car and Brian will take my M3 swapped challenge car. Still at the beach in Florida, will get back Friday. What is the weather like there?? Also is there a Sunday funday as well?? Matt

Weather is looking good for the weekend, mid 60's. Sunday is also a fun day but I'm not running then.

The Buschur Racing backed Talonator will be there, this is the car that just won the 24 hour race.

Fantastic time today! If you missed it, well you really did miss it!

Ran a 1:19.7 in the Eclipse. Got bathed out from some pretty boy in an over priced ACR Viper who couldn't get around me. I think I converted Ron, Kevin and Dean into road racers after taking them for rides! Haha
