Yes, the wound required some stitch's to close it up. She is sore but otherwise ok. It was a Great Dane and was a friend of ours dog.

Thanks guys for the kind words. Unfortunatley, I spent most of my weekend wrenching on the car and did not get a chance to do much else. The car was a dirty, dusty mess and needs a good cleaning! Typically I would detail it on Friday at the Econolodge but we were busy pulling the head off in the trailer.

I saw that dog on Saturday and Sunday. I wouldn't trust that dog as far as I could throw it. I was walking past it and its owners on Sunday and as I was walking closer to it (still about 20ft away) I noticed it looking at me like it might like to get ahold of me. The girl who had the leash at the time put herself between the dog and I so it couldn't see me anymore. I took the warning and veered off to the left as to keep some distance as we passed. I've learned my lesson the hard way with big ass dogs like that.... Stay the F away!

I walked over and was petting that dog, it made up to me no problem...dogs can sense fear on people and react to it in an aggressive way, the owner said that it was sort of a big baby and was nervous about the environment with the noise and alot of people around it, I had seen it on Saturday also, had my back turned to it looking at a car next to their canopy and felt something nudging me and it was that big horse of a dog burying its head in my legs to hide from people trying to mess with it, lol.

Sorry to hear about your wife Mike! B.Kuz stopped by the shop and he told me the whole story and boy did he feel REALLY awful about the whole ordeal. The dog seemed very good when I was hanging around with it but I could definitely see that it was quite nervous with all of the crowds and noises. I think the new environment put it in Defense Mode.

I also heard that Jewer was possibly taking the dog? He said the dog ran very fast but it took too long to get up to speed, so he installed a chihuahua behind it for faster spool. The worlds first compound pet

No hard feelings towards the dog or Kuz! My wife and I actually like the dog. In fact right after he bit her, he put his head on her leg and layed down.

Good question, I looked at the lanes and was satisfied with the turnout but didn't count.

I'd like to find one sponsor for the DST and DSE classes next year, like a two for one sponsorship. Get you guys some money for winning/placing.

I'm sure a few hundred bucks to help with his hotel and fuel to come all the way out here would have been nice.
