Dave I really feel with the new classes you will lose a good 15-20 racers who have FWD. Can there be a FWD/RWD slick class like last year and make the Race Tire class anyone with EVOs who come out because 80 percent of the EVO guys who come dont race the Quick 16 anyways.

Race tire class fits slick tired FWD perfectly from what I can see. I like the street tire class.

i think you should of left the classes and rules how it was last year.......this just seems to be beneficial for all of buschur's cars if you ask me....i know you will lose me and about 4 of my other friends that will be coming in fwd cars.....

Running a FWD car would be rather pointless....

Not sure why, most fast FWD cars run low 9's high 8's or faster, the RWD cars can be seriously fast, AWD,s just low 9's at best unless there an auto. Kiggly would get my vote for winning this class with his FWD but I'm sure he will be in quick class.

Ur last line says it best Curt Kiggly is a fast FWD but will race Quick 16. Most FWD cars around here are 9.7 and slower which will not compete with a car with 4 slicks period. If the event doesn't have a FWD class there will be a good 20-25 cars less because as the event gets more know more people come. We planned on bringing 7-9 FWD ourself and a ton of Honda guys I hear are coming for the Neon guys as we won the last two years the FWD class. Dave please have a FWD class or I doubt there will be many FWD guys.

Its Dave's call, and Dave's event, but I was hearing a lot of complaining for a large SRT contingent.

I am not sure how the rules were structured last year since I TT'd my bike, so I cant comment beyond that I agree a good 20 or more cars wont show if there is not a FWD class.

I don't understand why all the fwd guys are worried about running with awd vehicles. They all can be fast and having less classes will make for larger groups in each field.

But whatever it doesn't matter to me I guess.

Where hell were you guys for the last year? These classes have been posted like this for at least 10 months and now you are going to show up and whine with 3-4 weeks left before the event?

It's cool, don't show up, if the event attendance drops the event won't happen again, it's that simple. The other option is show up and if you can't compete in a heads up class run in a bracket class. Then next year rather than complain at last minute state your opinion earlier.

There were requests for qualifying for the heads up classes, I did that. I'm not changing the classing further this late in the game. Try it like it is, next year put your suggestions in sooner.

Fact is the turn out for most of the classes was low or non existent last year, this eliminates a bipunch of those small classes and should make for better competition, especially with the qualifying.

As an "ex" promoter, i can appreciate this post... If he separated every this and every that, we would have 20 classes with one or two cars in each class. I will race the quick class at a disadvantage, with a 2 valve motor. Probably wont win anything but, DAMN,... Il have a good time!,Joe L.

Gotta love it. If there weren't people to complain, this game would be no fun!

Remember, you can't please all of the people all of the time. If you do one thing to cater to one group of people, another group of people will get upset and complain because it doesn't work to their advantage.
