David thanks again from all of the Cleveland Crew for putting on such a great event. If it was not for all the Honda's, we would have had a break free day!

    Keep up the good work.

Thanks for another great event Dave. Much needed in the light of some family health news that I got this weekend. Helped get my mind off of it for a couple hours. Looking forward to august.

Thanks to the Buschur Crew and everyone else that made this happen! Had a great weekend with my crew at the track and off. Came in with the faded White 1g and Teal 1g. See you guys in August paint or not! My red laser should be out of the bodyshop and ready for the auto-x/drags so I can join the race fun too!

thanks for everything this weekend david, I had a blast! i have alot of crappy phone videos and pictures that ill post when i get back from my trip (ill pm you david)
The event was very fun even though i didnt have my car done but watching you, "slut lips" curt, the s2k, and the mini cooper has really turned me on to auto-x. I met alot of guys from the forum this weekend and had a blast talking to them, learning of tips and tricks to just hearing stories of all the events in the past i hadnt been to...very cool.

By the way i didnt talk to you or chris much after hearing about your cars breaking, i figured you guys were pretty pissed .

Thanks everyone, glad you all enjoyed it. I had quite a few conversations with some guys that have been around this stuff nearly as long as I have, import racing. It seem as though the general thoughts are the same as to what happened to the HUGE Import Racing scene from years ago. The big names came in and flat out ruined it. NOPI and NHRA put the final nails in the coffins with their over regulated rules, class structures etc. They both watched the first Fast and Furious and thought that the show was real and tried to turn the events into "Lifestyle events" instead of race events. I know for me all those things ruined it.

The classes were all full this year, unlike last year when a lot had only 1-2 cars. Very few EVO's/Mitsubishi's won, it's not like it was some easy clean sweep. I saw some kick ass Honda's and Subaru's there that were flying.

I am collecting and keeping ALL of the tech cards. For those of you that came to the event to support it if you have something to say I will listen but I will ONLY listen IF you had a tech card from this year. For the guys who decided the event was set up wrong and decided not to race because of that, YOU get NO say in any changes. Names will be required to be allowed any say in future changes, based on racing here this year. Personally, I think it worked out well, real well.

As for my car breaking, I wasn't pissed. I was more pissed someone stole my wheel spacers from the shop and I couldn't run my Hoosier's. There will be changes being made to how the dyno bay is used in the future as that's where they were stolen from. The car breaking wasn't a big deal, just a little disappointed more than anything because I was really enjoying driving it. I have a spare transfer case so it's not a big deal, maybe get it in this week.

Thanks again for everyone who came out! I had a great time!

Dave and the guys at buschur racing did it again. It was a great event both days. Me and my old shop mangaer mark had a great time. He tried autocross for the first time and really enjoyed it. Th drag event was great as all buschurs drag events are. We will be back in august for the dsm/evo shootout see you's then.

    Dave,
I some how missed that your wheel spacers were stolen. Did this happen on friday? That really sucks! Why does some low life scum have to ruin things for the rest of us!

Also thanks for another great event. Really loved watching the autocross. Can't wait for the shootout!
Do you own a EVO? No I do not. Then what the hell are you doing here!

Dave huge turn around IMO having the qualying in all classes this year. I didn't mind the classes at all either. Actually everything seemed to go smooth when going through the lanes and everything

only ideas I have for next year would be more promoting of the event on other forums, flyers, etc. Seemed the racer/spectator turnout was lower than it could have been. The sport compact scene isn't dead like you stated we just need to get the event info out in more places. All in all had a great weekend. Got to do a photoshoot with dsport Friday morning. Car still had a few bugs to work out but I couldn't get them in time for elimination. Thanks for the good time and we will see you next year.

I had a fantastic time! Thank you David and the rest of the Buschur family! It was great seeing everyone and meeting some new faces.

I hit a nasty storm on the way back in central Indiana. I cannot believe how well the RE-11's handled the torrential rain especially considering the fronts are almost bald on the outside 1/4 of the tire (7000 street miles and over 230 autocross runs)...never have driven in rain quite this heavy before and the tires never hydroplaned even at some serious speed! Luckily there was no hail

There are 3 company/vendor names per sleeve including: Buschur Racing, Motovicity Distribution, Switzer Performance, IDRC, D-Sport Magazine and Design Engineering (DEI).

The back features a drag strip which states "fast car" under it and an autocross course which states "fast driver" under it.

Thank you to all the Buschur family and everyone else that had a part in the event. I had another great time and even my pregnant woman had a great time even with the heat. She really is starting to enjoy this stuff which is awesome. Thist was my first time going to this event and it was a great time. Not the turnout that I expected seeing as I have been going to the DSM/EVO Shootout for a few years and there is always a great crowd but none the less it was a great time. The shirts were the best that I have bought so far also from any of the shootouts. The patterns were great. Keep up the good work and if my baby comes early then I just might be at the Shootout this year. Depends on when she wants to meet the world. Thanks again David and everyone else that had a part in the event.

Great time all weekend! Got to kill quite a few cones in the autocross. Nice to meet you Dragn racing and thanks for teaching me about autocrossing. Sucks about your transfercase breaking and someone stealing your spacers. I hope you find the f**cker and kick his ass. I really was hoping to see some fast times from the Rs. Congrats to 9's by the JoeDog crew and Draven! Can't wait till the Shootout!
