Hi everyone.

I am the owner of Buschur Racing, Inc. I am an enthusiast, I love clean DSM's and EVO's as a matter of fact I love just about any cool car regardless of who made it or built it. I have owned Buschur Racing for 22 years. I have continued in this business because I am passionate about what I do and to be honest at this point in my life, 43 years old, there is really nothing else I can do.

I am, however, still involved in this because it's what I chose and what I love for the most part. With the good always comes the bad.

I am not much of a people person person if you ask "some" people. The truth of the matter is "some" people like to be smiled at, lied to and have their hand held while you take their money. If you are that type of person I am going to tell you straight up, not only do you not want to talk to me, you may not want to even deal with our shop. If you want to be sold the correct part the first time, not taken advantage of and be treated like a man (maybe a man from the 1800's) then please do speak with me or someone at our shop.

We will not lie to you and sell you something you don't need. We will not steal your money, rip you off or smile while telling you a crock of bullshit.

Every once in awhile we have someone who calls the shop that "Has to speak with David Buschur." Well if you have to speak with me I will take the phone or at the very least return your call. What you will get is someone who loves the cars and has been asked every question there is in 22 years of doing this. I have also heard every lie there is and every stupid excuse for every wrong choice made. If you get me on the phone you are going to get ME on the phone. I simply am not really a people person and that is why I have hired two good salesmen to represent my shop. They are not on commission and have been trained by myself to treat you with respect and not sell you ANY part you DO NOT need. They are the polite ones and that is why I have them working for me.

The point of this is I will speak with anyone who requests to speak to me. If I go off about a subject you bring up, if I tell you that your choices are fucking stupid, if I tell you the TRUTH or how I FEEL just remember YOU asked to speak to David Buschur.

I guess consider this a warning. I am the most straight up SOB you are going to speak to or meet, if that type of personality is not for you, please, PLEASE do us both a favor and do not request to speak with me directly.

I'd rather be locked in a room assembling someone's bad ass engine, designing a new bad ass part or putting a bad ass tune in a car on the dyno.

The most awkward moment for me on the phone with Buschur Racing was when I called one day, was expecting to get Jarrod or Nick on the phone, but instead David Bushcur answered the phone himself. I was calling to follow up on the status of an order, however, not familiar with David's voice on the phone I asked "Are you new there" so David goes, no, "I'm the owner" so I was like wow...your David????? in a state of shock that David answered the phone as I would expect him to be locked away in a room building some high horsepowered engines.

I can't say I know you first hand but I have read more of your post on here and evom. Since I want to learn may as well learn for the best. I feel you have had to become a asshole to stand up for your name and company. I have seen people bash you and for what reason no one knows. And all you do is post results over and over. I feel that you put your heart in to your parts. Your putting your hearts in to your company and your parts each day to better the dsm, and evo would. Nope. Pretty sure David was always like this. It actually hurt the business when he first started out. I personally was trying to "comparison shop" prices between shops back when I had my first project car, and Dave said "these are my prices, pay them or buy elsewhere" and I got pissed off and purchased elsewhere. That was back in 1996 I think. David's sticker price is what he thinks his parts are worth, he does not over charge and he got pissed off when I mentioned another shop and their prices.

The reality is that Davids parts were of better quality, and i would have been better off buying from him... but his bluntness pushed me away, and probably some other potential customers as well. Now that I am not a snot nosed kid who don't know his ass from a hole in the ground I am much better at listening too someone like David. I am also willing to politely argue with him and even once (I know, hard to believe) WON an argument with him! Now David is almost more of an E-85 freak than I am
