Unhappy help with 08 EVO X GSR

ok bought the car havnt seem to have any problems with her... bought CP-e cat back exhaust, drop in cone filter, stage two act clutch and flywheel, and lastly COBB AP tuner... so now after some time driving with a 91 octane AEM cobb tune the car starts throwing codes... codes are P0167 (lost communication with the imobilizer ecu).. ok that one is irrelevant i think.. but i also get P0102 ( Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input) and more importantly i think this one P0137 (02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor 2) ) .. can anyone help me to determine if my MAF and rear o2 sensors are "bad" or is there possibly some other cause?? the car idles at 1200 now instead of the normal 1k ... and after some driving and warming up it idles at 2K ... turn on the AC and it fluctuates between 1500 and 500 rpms... any help would be appreciated...

So the problems occurred right after you hooked up the COBB AP tuner? What if you go back to stock ECU Control, does the car return to normal? Those errors are likely from no MAF or O2 sensor signal reaching the ECU, likely a settings issue on the AP but I've never seen one in person to know enough to troubleshoot it.

no the problem didn't happen right after the AP install.. i have had the AP on there for about 6 months.. changing the tune now and again for more performance when needed... but your thought is that the specific map i installed could be causing a software issue and not letting the MAF and o2 sensor talk to the ECU... so how would i go about fixing that i wonder... i didnt build the map just installed it... so i dont know how to change it up... guess ill ask COBB on thier site how to completely uninstall the AP and go back to stock and see what happens...

Hi there, had the same problems with my car... The code about the O2 sensors is coming up as soon as you remove the cat, the way around this is to get a "spacer" basically a 2'' tube you can attach the O2 sensor to your test pipe where the cat was, got mine of ebay, just search for O2 eliminator for Evo X.

Sorry can't help with the other codes..

The 2k rpm idle means it's in limp mode. You are flowing more air than the stock settings allow and they need to be configured by a tuner or have the CEL's disabled in some instances.
