Lonnie, I was going to link him to the BR core, as well...since he already has short route piping.
The SBR unit is a knockoff of the old BR street core. They ditched it in favor of the "race" core. You should consider the same.
Personally, I wouldn't try to make over 450-500 AWHP on that street core.
Yes, it can be done. And I'm sure at one point in time, this one guy with this one car ran 8's on the SBR FMIC. But you're not him.![]()

So car went on the dyno this weekend after replacing the o44 inline because the old one took a shit! was waiting for it and other parts to get in on the schedule to tune for like 3 weeks....anyways I still have the old set up on the car (because its for sale) turns out the throttle body was already a 1g throttle body and only thing thats changed is I went to A1 L19 HS and fully rebuilt and O-Ringed the head.
Now car did terribly as the tuner had to stop at 471awhp@25psi (keep in mind last time I made 560@ 28psi) because the advance auto 13 psi radiator cap backed off and blew coolant everywhere! also tuner says the tune got erased somehow because car was really rich in the lower RPM's and leaning out alot in the upper RPM"s what the hell? how does a tune get erased?
I guess while the car was getting the head put on when it was at the mechanic (shady) something was fooled with somewhere also thats when the 044 pump took a shit right after I picked the car up!
Tune is postponed until I get a stronger radiator cap in and a 160deg thermostat and maybe even a intercooler because the 195 degree one from Advance is absolute garbage! car was seeing 200-210 degrees on the dyno. Anyone feel like adding some knowledge to all this please do would love to hear what u all think.
