    Default My evo x meth tune/ clutch job/ dom 2.0 by DG motors

    Blouch Dominator 2.0 turbo
    DW 800cc injectors

    Cooling mist meth kit with vc2 controller/(375cc nozzle/ 100% meth)/ Min 13psi- Max 20psi

    I had finally gotten a day off work and immediately called Pete at Dg Motors to schedule a clutch/flywheel swap and a meth retune. I will 3.5 hours away from DG Motors but even that did not stop me from coming in at 8am. The night before I finished up installing cooling mist methanol kit and ETS O2 dump dp. Woke up at 4am and got ready for a long trip to power land hahaha.

    The Act clutch and flywheel install went very smooth. Pete also ported my ETS dp to stop the boost creep. Custom DG Motors slave block was put on the car as well. We then noticed a small leak from one of the fittings on the methanol tank which was fixed by Pete at no cost. I snapped one of the studs on my ichiba spacer the night before which was also fixed at no cost. Since the race season had started we threw in Bred Penn race oil in the car. All of the fluids were topped of and she was all done.

    That’s where the magic began

    This was my third trip to DG Motors and well worth the drive. Thanks Pete!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The car spins first gear from a roll. It feels amazing and safe. Bone stock motors, no cams and making huge power on 1.033 (to be exact) CF.

    The final boost was at only 31 psi. Car made 423 whp on 1.0 cf and 393whp was a final pull in October. The turbo spools much faster. Huge gains in the mid range: 40-60 whp and 50wtq. Very happy with results.
    I ran 11.79 @ 117.5 on pump, no meth, stock clutch, and bald tires. 1.835 60'

    When I first got the dom 2.0 the car was tuned by Charlie, I like Petes maps and tunes much more!!!

    After a couple of street pulls and logging we saw only a few 1s and 2s on the top. 1st-4th pull showed a clean log with only a few 1s and 2s

    Thank you. no traction in 1st and a little in second on 245-45-18 eagle f1's. I would love to make it but I cant
    The car is a blast to drive and freaked my friend out who took a ride in it 2 days before. He has a srt4 that runs mid 11s

    Did you actually run a 11.79 @117, or was this a dyno run? IS there tracks in Philly open yet? Im curious... Is 27psi all that you could run b4 without the meth, on pump? A 4psi bump alone is worth 40 hp... That seems awful quick for a full weight X.. I remember Dave and crew had to trap 124mph, to net an 11.7. And they were pushing 420+hp...... Im never a believer till I see proof...lol... Good shit tho...

    I ran that full weight, stock clutch, no meth, pump gas, 27psi on the dom2 at 393whp and Im a heavy guy.
