Thumbs up Dodging Cones doing the business

Anyone on here like to hit the AutoX courses? I am a newb when it comes to AutoX racing but do it when I can simply to have fun and improve my driving ability. Who all else here wants to Shred some cones this season!?!?

For sure, I love to autocross but don't set aside as much time as I should for it. Be sure to go check out the DSM/EVO Shootout section on the forums and look for the autocross event that will be held along with the drag racing this year.

I'm going to hit a school over the summer and maybe run a few events. We'll see how it goes. I autocrossed a bunch when I was younger, did OK, but eventually lost interest due to a (personal) lack of grasp for spacial relationships. IOW, I had a very hard time seeing the track defined by cones. I've even slowed down in the middle of a run waiting for someone to point the way. So, everything depends on whether I'll be able to see the course. No matter what, we won't be competitive. We don't have the tire, we won't qualify for STU, and the nut behind the wheel now knows the meaning of fear.

I've been autoxing for about 15 years, and will be campaigning my '06 Evo9 SE at National Tour and ProSolo events in the west this year with two other drivers.

It's gonna be interesting (and we're going to burn through a lot of 285/30-18 Hoosier A6s).
