Count us in as a sponsor and particpant. I'm bringing the Bad Bish this year and I'll be behind the wheel of it. It's gonna be interesting! BTW, you want HIGH BOOST FORUMS behind this in full force here, so take that damn evom crap out of your first post!

Let me know when to send our sponsorship money in and let me know if you need me to sign up somewhere.

You know, how much of a switch would it be if this year I entered for Team USA instead and ran my Shelby?! I might have to consider that too!

Here is a little more "personal" part of the event.

When I took my car to the hospital, and let the kids come down to sign my hood:

I parked the car at the front entrance so the kids who were healthy enough could come down and sign my car, draw pictures on it, or whatever they wanted to do to my car with a pen. I didn't care what they did, they were the ones sick in the hospital! They LOVED IT!! What was sad was, looking up at the hospital from where my car was parked, and you could see the ones too sick to come down, look at me, and give the "Thumbs up". They sent their tearful Mother/father/sister or brother down, to which I gave my pen over to them, to sign their childs name on the car (as surely they were too sick to come down)

If you look at the fender photo, I put on there: "Dr. Butterfields Honorary co-pilots" Because this event is for the kids, so damn it, if they cant be there in person, they damn sure will be RACING with us as their name was all over my car!!

    Look at this photo carefully.....

I haven't shared this story with many people, the boy on the stretcher is a sick boy. He saw the car from his room, and it was a logistical feat to get him down to sign my car (What his Mom told me). This was the HAPPIEST family I have ever met, and it was only for 10 minutes. He signed the car first, his brothers and sisters signed around his name. SUPER HAPPY, and thankful I let him sign my car. I even jokingly said to the boy: "I will trade you this pen, for that cookie on your plate" he laughed hard, and said: "DEAL!" Anyway, I digress as usual. After the signing was over with, the boys mom came to me with tears in her eyes, and said:"I will come out to the race and see my son race with you!" and I said I was looking forward to seeing ALL of them out at the race.... Thats when she got choked up and told me her son...on the stretcher was only given ONE MORE WEEK to live!! This brave boy passed before the race, but the family was there to watch him "Race" anyway!!! He was on the car with me the whole way!! That was a hit in the gut, some get bad breaks in life, and smile, laugh, and are happy till its time to go. What strength!! That, and this, is why we do this. Godspeed to the kids who are dealt bad breaks in life, and leave us soooo young!! And if you look where I hit that telephone pole head on, those kids (And this boy) must have saved me on that night, because the pole split right down the fender where the kids signed the car!!

And for those who are wondering, I was NOT DRUNK, (I was going to a patients Highschool Basket Ball Game), nor was I racing when I crashed I was TEXTING!!!!! WTF!? Took my eyes off the road for a second!!

One year we were going to make "Baseball card" size trading cards for all the racers. I think we should do that this time. ONLY 2 photos or cards exist. My car, and this one.... Look cool huh?

I sadly have to say that I will NOT be at Winged Warrior this year. I leave for vacation on the 7th and will not return until the 16th. This is one event I always like attending every year, however this year the scheduling just doesnt mix.

    Are you positive?

    I beg to differ....

I had this saved on my comp here from way back forever ago.

    Sweet BMW from Chi-town!!

Kids announcing at the track: "Ladies and Gentleman, start your engines!" Note, I have a firm grip on my Starbucks! LOL

Upon the "...Start your engines...this one blasted down the track first!! Yes, This is the is Mustang that appeared on Pinks that crashed after getting taken out by the camaro, if you saw the episode. He will be back this year, to line up next to David Buschur  I got my money on Dave. But this was ONE LOUD/FAST MO FO!!

I got you guys/gals some of these trams, making continuous loops around the track to the events, and the "New" attractions that i am not going to talk about right now!!

I got my eyebrows waxed (Don't ask, not going metro on you guys, my 11 year old daughter said I needed to, so I did) But, it made my forehead into a Fivehead, so I made "imaginary" eyebrows to even my dome out. lol.

Evom calendar!! Awesome!! Evom is giving 5 bucks per sale of these badass calendars, to Riley Hospital, on behalf of Winged Warrior. You know you want one, if you own an evo or not! LOL. The kids in Riley Hospital would rather look at one of these hanging up on the wall, then the tubes/machines they are looking at now, wouldn't they?? We should bring some up to the kids when we take a tour of the kids at Riley on Friday May 7th??

UPDATE #1 :Here is what we are going to do. We will be taking over the OVAL this year too, NOT for you racers who are in the WWVI starting grid, but as something for all of us to see. If you know drifters, you can have them come down and drift in the bull-ring/infield/etc.... Edgar of DriftIndy will be handling this portion, so he will have more info there. I think this will draw in a larger crowd (More money for the kids), so we are going to do this too, going to be awesome!! You get the Grandstands, can see the autox/rallyx etc from there if you want. So we are adding a "Winged Warrior Drift" competition for drifters. (AGAIN, the ones who are on the Starting Grid for WWIV, are NOT going to have this added as a NEW event for you, so don't worry!!) LOL

The O'Reilly Raceway Park is the track that the Craftsman Truck, and the Nascar Busch series runs in now. Here are some picks of the oval:

UPDATE #2: RALLY-X For a trophy!! NEW EVENT/Challenge!! This is not 100% sure yet, but I am sticking my head out, and saying it WILL HAPPEN!!

For those who are on the starting grid for WWIV, regardless of on TEAM USA, or TEAM IMPORT, you have yet again, another event to trophy in!! If you remember, you are grouped off into teams, and Some of you are at the autox, and some of you are doing the drags, and the final group is in the "Racers carshow" area, whereas you park your car to be judged, and in a sence, you have this time alloted to you, to walk around and check out everything else that is going on. Not this year! We will be setting up a RALLY-X track (See map) and everyone in your class, will run 5-6 laps in the dirt/grass. So you will get a 1/2/3rd place trophy overall in the classes. like overall Class TOP GUN, A/B/C/D etc.... So you run NOT YOUR CAR, but 2 equally prepared Subaru RS's, caged and gutted. Now, another thing I did for you, is get those trams, which will be waiting for you at the "Racers carshow" area, and you all jump on the trams, and get transported to the rallyx track!! That will save you alot of walking time, and you need to be rested for racing anyway. It is a tractor pulling 2 30 people trams.....we could call this a Hillbilly Limo?? lol So again, when your car is being judged in the "Racers carshow" portion, you go muddin!!{thumbup}{thumbup} And this is also being used to bring back the MEDIA SHOOTOUT AGAIN!!!!

Not sure, but I think that is jrod and his family on the tram when this photo was taken... lol jk

Can you please post a link to the actual points page to classify a car into it's appropriate class? I can't seem to find it. Thank you!
