Check to make sure the crank sensor isn't messed up.
And also did you make sure the reluctor wheel was lined up properly when you bolted the pressure plate and starter ring gear assembly to the flywheel?
A Durametric scanner is handy in this case too.

At least you can pull the trans out with the engine in the car.
But you know verify everything on your own thats just a common thing I've heard of people doing. I like paint markers alot though. After I heard about a guy forgetting the starter gear on a 930 I got real paranoid about clutch jobs on any Porsche.

Yea it's for a friend, I hate working on Porsche cars which is why I ditched my Porsche as it was such an undertaking to work on the damn thing.

There is no reluctor wheel on this as I recall, The trigger is on the flywheel itself and come to find out he ordered a gt3 rsr clutch which was oem but I am wondering if infact they are interchangeable?
