Same thing here, mine is in no way going to be gutted, i may look for some ways to pull a few more ounces out of it in places but it will have a full interior, and would have fit into last years DSA class. I might pull the back seats out or something but its not going to be ridiculous. I think the best way for me to lose more weight in the car is to go on a damn diet LOL.

Mine will not be fully gutted either, but the rear seat will definately be removed, along with other miscellaneous items that would put it out of the old DSA class. But there are guys who certainly are interested in something like this without any interior whatsoever.

I can make a list if you guys want me to. I didn't look at the names I had Jarrod handle it. We made an invoice saying Paid in Full for a car and driver entry for the 2010 Shootout. That invoice is being mailed out to anyone who pays, KEEP IT, IT IS YOUR ENTRY TICKET FOR THE RACE.

Do you guys want me to make a list and keep adding to it?

We have 2 or 3 guys that are in for this, but won't be sending any money until January some time. I hope this happens and I don't care how much they gut there cars (as long as it still looks like a DSM when it flies by) it's still racing. We are at present installing a cage into one of the cars that will run this class. Some of these guys will be running better times than half the DSE class. lol.

Some of these cars are "race cars" only, when's the last time you saw a full on race car with an interior? No worries there for me. As I said, I still daily drive my car, and will be driving it down to the shootout, and I plan to drive it back, probably with the wife inside as well. I need at least some semblence of an interior to keep her happy haha.

There should be some low 11 second guys/gals in this class, I'd even go so far as to predict at least one 10 if we can get people involved. The evoIII 16g has done tens before, and you know with turbo's like the sleeper 16g's, the new FP 68hta, 18g's, etc. There's some 14b guys in the mid 11's that I would like to see show up as well, hoping to better their times.

Now we need to get them to put up the money We have time though, it'll take some people a little while to recover from the Christmas holiday first.

I keep my username the same on all the forums. Otherwise i would forget it.

This will be my GF's DD, nothing too special and basicly a full weight 1g GST auto. She would have ran in DSA last year, but my trailer was stolen the week before the shootout and i had to hunt for another trailer to use that could haul 3 cars instead of put her turbo on and build the exhaust for it. She wasnt too happy.
