Hello I bought a vendorship at this forum and got pretty poor service from them. Very unresponsive to my concerns, poor communication, little to no reply to queries.

I have to keep buying the vendorship in order to get bashing protection. Turns out if you arent a paying vendor then the standard bashing rules dont apply.

I checked out of "the system" about 11 years ago, partially because I wanted to have my own company, and partly because I cant stand the idea of being regulated by political correctness and such. I know everyplace has rules of course, but it never feels cool to be reprimanded like a schoolboy. I think somewhere along the line the internet forum changed from a place where we all shared stories etc into a money maker for someone that really isnt part of the group. In my opinion, that model fails. I think EVOM was in it's prime when Mark ran it, now it seems really corporate to me and there isnt any respect for the pioneers that plowed this row in the first place.

I'm surprised vendors such as FP who are pioneers in the 4g63 turbocharging world and TIAL who transcend even that are treated so poorly at evom. You guys have worked hard to build a name for yourselves and its like none of that exists now in the forum world. It's as if you're just another shadetree shop or something. Like Robert said I guess that's the power of the internet. So sad. Isn't anyone else perturbed?! BTW this is my first post and I'm proud to say I own products from both Tial and FP (FP green and an older Tial 40mm wastegate with fins on the housing). You guys get my respect just as Dave Buschur does and the other old school dsmers like Al Blaha and Curt Brown do. Just know there are still some of us who know who's top dog and innovators and originators in the 4g63 world and who aren't even if the evo-m community doesn't. I hope this doesn't come off as brown nosing thats certainly not what I intended but it seems like the dsm community and other 4g63 related communities have forgotten their roots. You ask someone who owns a dsm now if they know who Al Blaha is and they're all dumbfounded.

Edit: At least most do know who Dave and Buschur Racing are.
