Evolved, I love my Harley. In stock form, the 1200 sportsters are pretty much the fastest straight line harley you can get (except for maybe the v rod, although my stock 1200 held up just fine against my friends modded v rod). They are a little top heavy, so cornering is not as great, but they are very comfortable to ride, and you can get a 07 or newer 1200 Custom (lots of chrome, and a really nice look) for pretty good prices.
I f I was going to trade it, it would be for a v rod or night rod. Those bikes are very nice!

Not sure on 1/4 time, haven't run it. Just going on power to weight (lightest frame/one of the biggest motors harley has), and experience of others. Harleys aren't exactly known for being the fastest things out there.
