Swedge tubes from Jet racing: http://store.jetracinginc.com/swedgetubes.html
    Rod ends are QA1 units
Rod end tie rod adaptor was from speedway.
Standoffs are designed by me and I have a machinist turn them for me.
The end with the clevis (trailing arm) I came up with with the help of my neighbor. My friend Jake does all my TIG work for me along with a lot of my machining too. Super great guy!

I have done a TON of searching to find some of this stuff.

Hopefully soon. I have had almost no time to touch the car. To much powder coating for me to do.

    Here is a little update:
This is where I'm think about mount the custom sway bar.

Excuse the crappy paint drawing but it's all I have to work with at the moment. Purple= bar Yellow= heim joints

Since my spare tire well is gone I was thinking this would be the best place to mount the bar. It would also be mounted to a much more ridged area than the cross member location.

    Thoughts on this set up?

I'm also look at bolting the EVo steering rack into my car, It looks doable with lots of work. I just need to do more research and measuring. That's it for updates. I know it's not much.

So I'm going to pass on the Evo rack for now. It is doable(pretty sure) but I think it will be best to leave the stock one for now. After talking with Andrew Brilliant it sound like the car will need all the steering assist it can get with the tire sizes I plan on running.

So here is what I have done. I have been working stuffing my car with metal bearings. The last arm do to is the compression arm. I saved this arm for last for many reasons. It controls are dynamic camber and toe on the front of the car under braking and acceleration. The bushing in it is huge and has a dog bone through the center for mounting it. Also the mounting bolts bolts are in single shear and that could be very bad with the change in peak loads it will see.

After talking to Andrew(thank you sir) and reading his blog post on how he used deflection tuning I'm not sure if putting a spherical bearing in the compression arm in a ridged housing is the best idea. I'm going to try along with Andrew's and Adam Proto to design a bushing that will still allow the dynamic camber where we want it but also allow the arm to pivot with out binding. I'm not sure we can do it but it's worth looking into.

Just in case I went ahead and welded a tabs on the sides to put the compression arm bolts in double shear. A plate that will tie into several of the other bolts on the cross member to put those bolts in double shear. The cross member should be coated very soon. I also beefed up the lateral arm clevis so that it should not have problems with the metal bearing being used there. I actually did these welds myself so they could look better but hey, It's only my third time welding. Yeah!

Again not much but hey it's something.

    Bam! Front x-member done!

60% SD gloss black. I bit washed out looking from the flash but you get the idea. It was still 350+ degrees so I didn't really want to touch it to bring it outside for better pics. It's a rare day that I get to powdre my own stuff.

    A small up date:

Front knuckle have been shaved and coated. It dropped right at 1/2 lbs per knuckle. More could be had but I stuck to the large easy to reach areas . I'm happy
