Another long over due product that I finally finished! Three cheers for me!
This was not an easy task to figure out. Now that it is done, of course it seems simple but it was tough to get to function correctly.
The EVOX fuel unit is fairly complex. The unit does not just drop in the tank, it compresses on a spring, so the base sits flat on the floor of the tank and then the top compresses down where it is attached.
We managed to fit, two Walbro 255 pumps in the tank and had some nice CNC'd aluminum fittings made for the kit too. As you will see the tank top and bottom need to be modified. The new fitting we had made has made this a simple drop in replacement. NO HACKING OF THE STOCK FUEL LINES, NO HACKING OF THE ELECTRICAL WIRING. You simply remove your stock fuel pump assembly, put this one back in it's place, ground the ground wire with the pre-wired end to one of the bolts on the top of the tank and then run a single wire to the front of the car that is attached to the pressure switch. Then hook up your boost/vacuum line to the pressure switch and you are done. The switch triggers the second pump to come on at roughly 6 psi.
The kit will require a core. We had hoped to sell this without requiring a core but the price of the full fuel pump assembly combined with the fact there are not any available make it impossible.
We have three complete systems here now and will only sell/ship them when "your" core arrives here. I can not make any exceptions because the three we have are the only three in this country.
Pricing will be $500 for the complete kit as pictured and as stated, absolutely requires a good core in advance.
Thanks for looking
