    Finally used my new valve spring tool today and it works great one tap of a hammer bam the springs are on!

    Here is my head all doen up crower 272s, crower springs, and 3g lifters.

    Well made some more progress today, one more days work and the motor should be all wrapped up.

    Well sent my ecu out to to ecmlink to get checked out and socketed yesterday, here i get an email from them today saying my ecu is actually out of a 90 galant vr4. Immediately I thought the worst, but the assured me that they could rewire the egr circuit (so i can hook up my wideband and I would have to flip two pins and I'll be good. best part is they aren't even going to charge me anything extra so big thumbs up to the guys at ecmlink!!

    Well got some more stuff done today, ran into some issues with the turbo, so I made a post in the tech section if could check it out and give me some info that would be great.I got my stainless vavle cover and mani bolts put on today aswell as the timing covers. it's been takin me awhile since i have to clean up and paint every bracket.

    I'm very new to the DSM scene as I'm still undecided on whether or not to pick up a 1G or 2G. Coming over from the EVO world and reading through this entire thread, I immediately noticed some unfamiliar terms (i.e. - por15, DSMLink, ECMLink, etc.). I will say that I've learned a lot reading about your build and just seeing the progress is awesome.
    Proud supporter of MAPerformance. A healthy EVO8, an MAP EF3 Turbo, and a bunch of other "go fast" parts. Enough said.

    Okay so my build is coming back from the dead. I've had a whole bunch of downtime and haven't touched the car in months due to a super long back order on fidanza clutches and lack of motivation. I have a friend that said he will come over and help that has built several 1g's before. I basically need to get some injectors and A wideband still other than that everything else will be all stupid little parts here and there. I wanna get the car up and running before it has to go into winter storage and next year I can fine tune everything. i really wanna get car drivable and start putting real parts on it one at time next year and sell all this budget stuff off. Look forward to some updates in the next few weeks.

    Damn nice. I kick myself for selling a clean 94 TSI I had, which was built the last week 1gs were made, build date wise. Didn't have a lot of money in the car and made a good chunk selling it. Originally got it with a broken block. On the west coast its going to be a wild good chase to find a 92-94 TS thats not in shambles. Got many extra 1g parts though, so keeping it running will be easy. Good luck.

    Ok worked on the car today got the rear calipers on, the e-brake cables installed, and the stainless lines in the rear. One strut was backwards so I flipped it around, my other agx is missing the lower bushing haven't figured out what to do yet. I went to do the front and it needs wheel bearings up front, and they suck to do. I went to do the rear axles and the shorter driver side went right in but I can't get the longer pass side axle to snap in all the way for some reason. I also need to figure out where to get bolt for the axles to cups and I need a rear caliper bolt, e brake clips and the four brake line to chassis clips.

    Another question I have is I now have the rear end in the car diff, cv's, calipers, rotors, muffler, etc. The car has agx's with H&R springs and I took it off the jack stands I still have a gap from the fender to the tire of about 6-7 inches!!!!!!! and tons of positive camber!!!!!! The suspension is pretty stiff but it moves idk what would be causing the car to sit so high in the rear?

    Where is the best place to get this stuff without going to mitsu dealer???
