Just like a car. Let go of the clutch too soon, dont pull the shifter up all the way or whatever. If I do miss a gear the only one is 2nd.

With riding and knowing alot... about bikes..... That makes zero sense. I have friends who are pro stunt riders and friends who do it as a hobby. All of them rock normal throttles. Ive never heard of anyone doing a "reverse throttle". They have idle screws where they can adjust it for no handed wheelies and what not.

GPR shifting... he didnt miss a gear.. he pushed UP on the shifter.. and not down.

Its IMPOSSIBLE to miss a gear on a bike.. i dont care if your a newbie or not... if you push solid -- it will go in.. every time.

unless the bike is GPR shifting.. and your used to normal shifting..

well his wife wasn't there.. and he didn't want her to race since he says she sucks at it to begin with.. she's apparently a stunter and has the throttle set up differently that he's not use to...
my prob was I was spinning the car up to high in 3rd and had to slow shift to 4th (you can hear it)
that and WHOOPSY.. I left the dipstick loose.. 2 qts of 20w50 all over the backside of the motor.. damn dipstick...
near the end the car was pulling timing.. probably due to the higher charge temps..did like 5 passes in 90+ degree weather.. car was tuned when it was in the 80s... fin florida

good news though! 5 bar map sensor and race gas are in my garage... hehe oh what to do...

I call Bullshit on the reverse throttle! You can see plan as day in the first run when he misses the gear.

just like i said ---- 20 posts ago. I speak bikeineese and carineese!

Normal shifting on a bike is 1 down and 5 up.
GPR shifting is 1 up and 5 down. IT makes sure that comming out of a hard corner you are pushing down on your bike not pulling up on it. Gives the rides better balance etc.

now.. as for why you would do it for stunting.. i have no idea. Stunters do cages, naked bikes, 55+ tooth rear sprockets and sometimes they do some brake modification so rear up on the grip

when racing bikes it seems like you really have to go to a high speed to really beat one good.

seems like they don't have a lot of top end at higher speeds.

Only thing is it kinda sucks having to go all the way to those speeds to get the win.

I raced a 1000cc bike and it was an absolute monster down low. we started at 20 MPH

Bikes down low are ALWAYS gonna be monsters.. its once you hit the high MPH they lose due to air flow and resistance.. then a car can come past them.. in my book when you beat a bike.. its down low and you steadily pull from them.. as you see with my video the bike falls only alittle back each time.. the 750 is a beat down low and has no "lag" according to the rider.. power is on tap immediately as he hits the throttle..

I wasn't jumping on you my friend. I read that you don't speak bikeanese. I was refering to the comment about the reverse throttle.

Apparently I don't speak it as well as I thought I did. I didn't even know you could reverse the shifter on a bike. Who knew! lol
