Very nice. I know tons of V8 guys that will put their foot in their mouths seeing a pump gas 4cyl trapping 141mph lol. They would bet their lives it has to be on race gas lol.

Nice video, thanks for the props.

Like you said, with that many miles and passes it was time for the trans to get freshened up. Price you pay to go fast.

Nice shifting by the way, I think that's the first time I've seen you shift the car and you are very quick.

The MPH being 143 already is a good sign. The car should get close to 150 once the trans is fixed. Be sure to ask me to show you how to move the two step so you can do it next time.

Thanks man! And NO PROBLEM on the props, you deserve every bit of it! The car wouldnt be nearly as fast as it is without you guys up there!

i know the 2-step stuff. I thought I came off the clutch too fast the first launch so I tried to come off slower the second. I was planning to move it up after that pass, but we were asked to either run 1/8th or go home. I packed it up and decided it was enough for the day.

the car deffinately feels like it should be in the 150s once its fixed and ready to go.

The announcer on Saturday when we got kicked out, the first pass I bogged hard (1.9 60') and forgot to turn the boost controller up so I was running 29 psi instead of 43 pounds

The announcer was like "and the import goes 11.0" and then shocked and half screams "at 140!!"

My friends were all laughing at how shocked he was that the car trapped 140 lol. The way its feeling though, its deff going to trap 150s this year when its fixed and ready.

No doubt man. Im hoping for some low 10s at 130mph + this year. What wheels are you running with the slicks?

Rota Slipstreams 15x7 +40 with Hoosier QTPs in a 26x9.5x15 and then an identical set with MT ET Drags in 26x8.5x15.

Which so far have you had the best luck with? Also does running the size rim and tire require any special modifications to make them fit or do they bolt right up?

The full slicks are obviously the best but I need the QTPs for the shootout.

Wilwoods in the front, grind on them and then a 1/2" spacer. They look great when all installed though!
