Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit






These are the components to your balance shaft eliminator kit.

1. The smaller bearing (B) supplied with the kit should be inserted
into the front balance shaft rear hole after removing the original
bearing. It is very important to install the bearing (B) with the oil
feed hole 180 degrees opposite of the hole in the block. This will
let the bearing block off the oil feed passage.

2. The larger bearing (A) should be installed into the front of the
balance shaft front hole. The front bearing must block off the oil
feed hole.

3. The original balance shaft seal will be removed from the front
cover. The front cover seal plug (D) supplied with the kit will be
inserted in it place.

4. The stub shaft (C) supplied with the kit will take the place of the
rear balance shaft where it passes through the oil pump drive gear.

Inline Manual Boost Controller Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the Buschur Racing Inline Manual Boost Controller. We have put together these instruction to ease the installation of your new part. This should take about 20 minutes to install.



Your new boost controller will arrive to you preset from Buschur Racing approximately at the lowest boost setting possible. It will be close to the preset pressure on your wastegate spring.

In order to increase your boost the boost controller would be turned clockwise. Of course if you want to lower the boost it would be counter clockwise.

WARNING: If the adjustment knob is backed out to far the boost controller will come apart. If this does happen be sure the ceramic ball bearing and spring have not fallen out.

BUSCHUR RACING FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (91-94 T/E/L)


Before starting, lay out all components. Make sure that all components are clean and free of packing material. Wash out pipes with warm water and dry. Make sure that no debris enters intercooler or plumbing during install, as this could damage your engine.

1. Remove front facia.

2. Remove bumpers and bumper supports.

3. Remove tie-in from latch to lower core support.

4. Remove power steering cooler and discard. Turn rubber hose 180 degrees back into pump to bypass cooler.

5. On 1990 models remove air-air oil cooler and lines. Plug oil filter housing. *OR* Relocate oil cooler to location best suited to your project.

6. On the bottom of the lower core support, you will find 2 holes the same distance apart as the square legs on the intercooler. They are already drilled and tapped 8mm X 1.25 thread.

7. Position the legs of the core under the lower core support. Set the core into position, as close inward toward radiator as possible (the closer it is, the less trimming of bumper is necessary) and then mark the legs. Drill a hole through each leg and loosely bolt core up to lower core support with 8mm x 1.25 bolts supplied w/kit.

8. Pull strap at top of intercooler up to bolt hole of tie-in that you removed in step 2. Mark and drill hole at top of strap and loosely bolt through.

9. Note how much clearance you need for hoses from end tanks to clear openings on both sides of lower core support.

10. Remove core and enlarge openings accordingly using suitable tool. Die grinder is recommended for best results.

11. Reinstall core, bolting securely.

12. Remove both fans from radiator.

13. If using 16g or stock turbo, install J-Pipe sent with kit to turbo compressor housing. If using 20g, skip this step.

14. Place 6" 2.5" coupling onto driver side intercooler opening. Secure loosely with T-Bolt clamp. In the kit there is two 90 degree polished intercooler pipes. These will make up your lower intercooler pipe when both long legs are joined with a 4" coupling. Insert one end into coupling on driver side of intercooler, and join other end to J-Pipe or 20G compressor housing with 2"- 2 1/2" transition coupling. Secure all connections with T-Bolt clamps provided and tighten securely.

***IF RETAINING AC: You will need to bend A/C lines away from opening where I/C pipe passes next to radiator. These lines are aluminum and if bent gently should not necessitate draining refrigerant from A/C system.***

15. Place 5" 2.5" coupling onto passenger side of intercooler. Secure loosely with T-Bolt clamp.

16. Remove OEM throttle body elbow and the two oem studs. Install fabricated elbow provided and use 2 supplied bolts in place of the studs. Install 2 1/2" bellow coupling onto elbow and secure loosely with T-Bolt clamp.

17. Remove factory coolant overflow bottle located on the passenger side of the radiator.

18. The two long 45 degree polished intercooler pipes will make up your upper I/C pipe when joined with a 4" coupling. Bolt the factory BOV from your stock I/C plumbing to the flange on the supplied pipe. The top pipe will have the BOV flange on it's lower section by the coupling, the other pipe will become the lower half of the upper I/C pipe. Secure all connections with T-Bolt clamps.

19. Find a suitable location in your engine compartment and mount supplied coolant overflow bottle. Make sure that the "weep hole" on the top of bottle is pointed upward. Fill bottle 3/4 full and connect hose to thermostat housing.

20. Remove fan connector from the large factory fan and solder into wires of the SPAL 12" fan supplied in the kit. (You may want to check the polarity and make sure that the fan spins in the appropriate direction - TOWARD the engine compartment - before finishing your connections.)

*** IF RETAINING YOUR A/C: Your car may run warm with the A/C system left installed depending on your geographical location or type of vehicle use. If this occurs, you will need the optional 9" SPAL fan not included in this kit.***

21. Replace the front bumper supports.

22. Place bumper up to supports and mark bumper if trimming of bumper is necessary. In most cases it is necessary and can be done by a local garage with a set of Oxygen/Acetylene torches in about 5-10 minutes.

23. Replace bumper and front facia.
