The Shelby GT, luckily for me has a solid rear axle in it, 8.8 and a 3.55 gear ration. Shelby changes the indepenant suspension to the solid axle on the rear.

This new power on the EVO X is going to make the Genesis a hell of a lot easier, Jarrod is in for a surprise.

I work at a Ford dealership so I am excited to see what you do with the Stang. I am a little unclear on what you have though. Do you have the 32 valve 5.4 supercharged GT500, or the Shelby GT (upfit package from Shelby) with the 24 valve 4.6

Either way it's a capable car. None of them have IRS anymore. They handle better than the old IRS "Terminator" cars and no worry of busting shafts every time you launch.

I know tons of guys with Mustangs, most of which are really impressed with my car. I would love to be able to tell them that you work the same kind of magic with thier cars.

As far as this years goals, I also hope I can join the list of BR 10 sec pump gas cars as soon as the tracks open back up. Now that the Exedy is in, it's going to happen. FP Red, pumpgas, street tires.

I've got the regular Mustang GT with the Shelby package on it, Shelby GT is what all the Mustang guys call it I guess.

You are right, they didn't replace the IRS with a solid rear axle, I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. They do pull the complete factory rear end out of the car at Shelby though and replace it with a new 8.8 with 3.55 gears.

That's cool. I can't wait to see what you can squeeze out of the 4.6

Believe it or not in a few years Mustangs will probably be factory turbo cars.

The Fusion is suppose to be available with the direct injection turbo charged engine in a couple years. If you decide to develop parts for those I will be ordering one

David, I was telling a friend of mine about your plans to build a turbo kit for the mustang shelby gt and he gets all defensive about how they are way different than dsm's and you will never build one that will out perform the hellion turbo kit because they have been building turbo kits for mustangs for years . Please do me a huge favor and make him eat his words. Here is a couple links to show what the hellion kit offers.

I've seen the Hellion kits, Turbonetics kits, the kit from Richard Head's place which are twins etc.

It would be easy for me to buy any one of those kits. I looked at all of them and saw things about each kit that I didn't like.

All the kits on the market, from the dyno sheets I've seen are too laggy.

We'll see what I am come up with. I've been dealing with someone fairly "high up" in the Ford community and who has some input with Shelby.

The kit I am going to build will use a lot of Ford Racing Products in it and they are going to come with the kit. It will be the most complete kit available, probably the most expensive too.

Don't worry about what your friend has to say. I'm not going for #2.

This is the exact response I was hoping for. Cant wait to see the kit when you are done.
