This line should be updated to the FP-Red record run:
    6. Tony Powell, 2006 EVO, slicks, BR 2 liter, Bushwacker trans, FP RED, Import, 566 whp/544ft lbs, 9.57@143.64, 145.16
Just look at the Buschur Catalog and choose 1 of each.

sadly there isn't a dyno closer than 6 hours from here and frankly that's not worth a sheet of paper to let me know the car runs okay lol

results from the track last night.

93 octane (no meth water or alk)
    stock ecu
stock mas (still has honeycomb and glue holding it in)
    BFG Drag Radials
no weight reduction, in fact I had some camera gear and a 30-40lbs of tools in the trunk. Minus the drag radials, this is exactly how I drive the car to work every day.

    60' 1.68
    1/8 6.78 @ 107.66
    1/4 10.41 @ 135.13

I only made 3 attempts and I called it a night, that's good enough for now I still didn't have my logger cable so I couldn't adjust the tune and it's pretty rich at very high rpm so there might be a little more in it with that and a better 60'.

I'll edit video tonight most likely, in car and out car

    current mods:
    BR HTA 35R .63 @ 34.5psi on 93 octane ~600awhp

    PTE 1000cc injectors
    BR 2.0L
    BR Stage 3 head
    BR BF272 cams
    BR twin walbro fuel pumps
BR 3" tbe, test pipe, bullet muffler
BR 3" intake pipe + Mas adapter
    BR UICP
    BR Mini Battery
    BR Race FMIC
    BR COP
    ARP head studs
PPI ported stock intake manifold (wilson/indy is on the wish list)
    PPI 65MM throttle body
    Tilton Twin Disc Carbon clutch

Put the .82 hotside on that thing and your 1/4 MPH will go way up based on the 1/8 MPH!!

    thanks guys I'm so happy

the new HTA86 shipped out yesterday so I'll be going to that and at the same time from the .63 to .82

still don't have the slicks mounted and I couldn't touch the tune due to a bum tactrix cable. There's much more to come! I want 9's on the stock ecu/mas

With the addition of the HTA86 and slicks, I definitely think 9's are in your future with the stock ECU.

Good Luck on obtaining your goal!

Default Accurate results based on weight, 1/4 mile trap speed AND Dyno readings.

Well, since some of my mods reduce weight while others add weight I decided to take a little trip back to the scales. Bone stock with the fuel tank full and all equipment in the trunk the car weighed in at 3640 lbs (+/- 20 lbs) and now it weighs 3600 lbs even. When I pull the spare tire and tools out of the trunk it weighs 40 lbs less (3560 lbs).

Subtracting weight based on my fuel level at the track and gasoline weight of 6 lbs per gallon plus the weight of my fat ass driving gives a race weight of 3820 lbs. Using that weight and my trap speed at the track (111.10 mph on a 12.597 run and 111.39 on a 12.601 run) my calculated CRANK HP is 405. Based on my new dyno sheets at Buschur Racing (295 wheel HP) and the % difference on Buschurs dyno between stock crank HP (291 Crank HP) and stock wheel HP (211 wheel HP) on his dyno for the MR you would get 408 CRANK HP... so that is a pretty good correlation to me!

    Later,

    Keith

Default Congrats to Alan Szabo and Doug's Dynopower

Just got the news that Alan Szabo's EVO9, built at Doug's Dynopower in Las Vegas ran a 9.96@141.36 mph last night.

The car has our 2.3 liiter shortblock in it, a ported head from Baker in LV, Kelford cams, BR upper and lower i/c pipes, BR Race FMIC, Tanabe catback, BR ported intake manifold, BR 65 mm throttle body, BR coil on plug ignition, Bushwacker Stage 1 transmission, BR double pumper, PTE6265 turbo.

The car is tuned with an AEM EMS, I had sent the base calibration to Doug at Doug's Dynopower a few months back and he worked the tune and we'd trade datalogs. While I was out in Vegas for the SEMA show I had the chance to stop by and just touch up the tune a little on Doug's Mustang AWD Dyno.

The car ran a handful of good passes last night, driving to and from the track. Two 9 second runs with the best being the 9.96.

Great job driving the car Alan and great job putting it all together Doug. It's about time you showed the Vegas crowd what you are capable of. You've been building fast DSM's since the early 90's buddy, I knew sooner or later you'd whip out a fast EVO!
