    Default Thanks Buschur Racing!

I am not good at doing a write up. So I will just keep it short.

Thanks to David and Buschur Racing for a great weekend!

Can't wait for the DSM shootout!

Not a huge turnout but a good one, Kiggly won the Quick 16 with ease with his consistant as hell 8 second auto(good job Kevin!). Both of Buschurs EVO's made good showings, the white RS on a 35rHTA ran 9.4@155 with Trent driving and the black car 8.89@165 working some bugs out with the new solid axle rear. Ran the 16g for the last time with no better luck, ive been doughting my driving the whole time but because 2nd gear shift was fucked, just falling on it's face, it did OK if I short shifted but it bogged some, Yusuf suggested running it out futher in first, well that found the problem, at 7800 or so it was breaking up real bad, TPS showed full throttle but rpm's were all fucked up, same at the end of the pass, 7700 and bam big missfire, maybe it was plugs, I don't know. Ran ten passes, best ET of 10.43 and best mph of 137.74, 1-2 shift murdered the 330 killing the whole pass. I lost the first round to Pure Tuning's 2g 3065 car, I tree'd him but he ran 10.24@135.44 to my 10.59@137.36. All in all we all had a good time and was nice to see everyone.

Thanks guys, glad you all enjoyed it.

The race car count wasn't huge but there seemed to be a lot of spectators and it was a very good day I thought. I believe this was a larger event than the Subi vs Mitsu race ever was so we are on the right path.

Curt you never stop amazing me, those times are amazing on a 16g turbo, rediculous.

I thought it was neat seeing some different makes/models running with the usual DSM/EVOs that we're used to seeing. I thought the overall format was good and hopefully this event will get some traction for years to come.

My main advice going forward would be scheduling. I knew a number of friends who could not attend due to family obligations with the holiday weekend. I know it's hard to get a great track like NRP booked but this would be my only piece of advice moving forward.

Thanks again for putting on the event!

You guys are welcome, thanks for attending.

Getting a weekend at Norwalk is nearly impossible. They had this weekend and mothers day/fathers day open. We tried those before and they don't work at all.

This will probably be the weekend it ends up on for quite some time, if not permanently.

Word...I can't mess with 500 weekend in Indianapolis. We've got tradition, and as much as I'd love to come out to Ohio for the weekend, 500 parties trump everything...even my buddies wedding that was Saturday.

Thats cause you dont need a car to go to a "500" party. Showing up to Norwalk in a Kia Rio to watch the DSm's race is wrong anyway...

If you were going to say Green I'd have said replace with black or run the brooks setup with aem. Sounds like it's probably the plugs.

I am looking for a video of my friends SRT-4. It is black and ran a 10.97.

If anyone has it could you link it here? Or send it to me at waynejen@zoominternet.net.

    Thanks.
