Ending AIT, 96.80 degrees

This is Trent's car on pump gas.
I am going to compile some intercooler information I have here along with the type of turbo used. If I have the engine size (2 liter, 2.3 etc.) I will list that information too.
All data was gathered doing testing on our AWD Mustand Dyno. Same fans were used although the testing is scattered at different times throughout the year. This is in NO WAY back to back testing of any particular intercooler. No horsepower data, no pressure loss. Simply air intake temps I have, boost levels and the point the car reached full boost as that's important to see how long the car was in boost compared to tempurature increase.
For anyone that I have tuned here with an AEM, if you don't see your brand FMIC on here please send me a PM with your name and which FMIC you had and I will post the data. This would be very helpful as I can't remember everyone's combinations and want to make sure this data is correct.

Dave, first off thanks for the info, it is highly valued and taken for just what it is, some logs at various times, not a direct comparison, yadda yadda yadda. Still the data says a lot.Originally Posted by David
Question: is it common to see and extra ~400rpms of lag when stepping up to your race core, even if you're coming from the (already fairly big) deluxe core? Or does this depend on the turbo...i.e. a stock-frame turbo like the IX or 20GLT will see more lag on the race core than say a 35R?
About a month ago I upgraded my 94 Talon from the "old" BR race core, 2-216 to the new 4" BR core, wow, way faster boost repsonse and nearly eliminated all knock on pump gas and the car is being pushed very hard on pump, New core is the best upgrade ive done in a long time.
Starting AIT 91.40

I noticed that one example I posted and the additional lag. I posted it anyway because that how I operate, post the truth and be done with it.
I do not feel that is typical and have other logs of cars with the same race FMIC's on it and same turbo that have much faster boost response. Looking at it now I wonder if there was a leak............
