Today we ran teh car with the new rear wing and front undertray. We set a new personal best ET with it and the MPH was right there with our best ever. 8.88 at 169.4 mph. The great news is the car is so stable now it doesn't move around at all. Daniel didn't pull the parachute at the end of the first run because he said the car felt too SLOW!! He told me on the way home he's ready for a few hundred more horsepower now! haha

So it would atleast seem at this point that the undertray has some good effects on the feel of the car at high speed. The other good news is it has been tested at high speed and there were no problems what-so-ever with it coming loose. It is held on in the front with 5 dzus fasteners, in the rear with the two tie bar bolts and then there are 2 zipties in the center.

Also, about the rear diffuser. That's what I worked on last night
Seems like every year so far for our rentals you set a new best

The flaps that direct air to the wheels/brakes are they plastic to? The beatrush has the same thing and I have scrapped them numerous times. Just wondering if it will take some abuse from some curbs.

The track rentals are good to us! Pete, how about asking the guy that was video taping the day we ran the 8.88 to forward us the video, if you don't mind.

Working on it. The only guy that has the run is having problems downloading it or something.

We have this one but not the one you're interested in.
4:15 is where the second best run is. Listen for the comment from one of the women that helped out, lol.

Jeff I was saying the same thing. I don't know what other people got, I've PM'd Eddie to see what he had but he hasn't replied.

    Default Rear view mirror deletes

Well we just finished something else. The rear view mirrors on the car cause quite a bit of drag. The non power mirrors on the EVO RS's are 2.4#'s a piece. The new carbon fiber block off plates that we just built to fill in the area left when you remove the mirrors weigh "nothing". They won't register on our scale that goes down to .10 pounds The plate looks good and also brings the recessed area left when you remove the mirror up flush with the filler panel in front of the mirror.

Here's is what the filler panel looks like:

The pair of these will be $99.

    Thanks.
