Hi guys,

This months (November 2007) Turbo Magazine has a great story on mine and my brothers EVO in it. The entire magazine is devoted to AWD's so it is pretty cool from cover to cover. Also has the Mitsubishi VS Subaru Showdown coverage in it. If you don't have a subscription you should go out and get a copy.

Something else that's really been bothering me lately. I am sick to death of all these huge BS dyno numbers getting spit out and bragged about all over the place. Anyone else notice this garbage?

I'm seeing 700 whp thrown around now-a-days like it is nothing. While it is possible and we've done it numerous times it is BS from most of the cars I see. I guess I should mess with the numbers our dyno produces or should have bought one of these make believe dyno's.

I think the part that bothers me the most is that most of these cars have NO track times to back up what they are claiming and the ones that do are SO far off from what the HP claims say they should run that I don't even think the cars are worthy of a feature.

I'm getting a huge laugh out of these 1,000 whp EVO's that are running at best mid 150 mph passes. We are barely breaking 800 whp on our dyno and yet we have the current MPH record running 169.59 mph, all these other jokers are claiming 1,000 whp and not even in the same ballpark.

It's good to read the entire magazine and then read the article about mine and Daniel's car last. Our power numbers are in the 600 whp range and both cars were driven 40 miles to where the photo shoots were done and then driven back home, we both have legit 9 second time slips. Had we swung by the drag strip on the way there or way home both cars would have run in the 9's at 145+ mph. We build real cars not dyno queens. We can back up our times and MPH anyday at anytime.

I guess I'm just sick of all these cars with their big HP numbers and no performance to back them up, both in magazines and on the internet.
