Do you have a blow off valve that vents to the atmosphere?
This can be several things.Don't just go replacing parts without actually troubleshooting the problem.See,for times like this it's nice to have an like a decent Fluke meter.Something that will do continuity, ohms, volt.See,now you need to check the Amperage coming out of that batt. The volts must be atleast at 9.6v or it's junk, but even if you have a fully charged batt, and you have no amps.Well,it can cause the car to stall. You may have a wire somewhere that has been frayed,or only connected by a few thin strands and not the entire wire. There are a few possibilities.Well, actually, thats like the hardest problem to troubleshoot over the phone or over the computer."My car stalls out.".Hahaha,that narrows it down to only about 100,000 possibilies, lol. But anyway,I'd start with that. Before you waste money on parts you don't need.
Also,if you can check the batt. cells with a hydrometer.I know,I know.Your thinking you already know it's the alt. or the batt. or whatever. But this is how you actually can tell what it is without buying the parts first.
