I beleive its 26 but I run mine at 28 cause thats how they come out the box and I run upto 29 psi on my DSM on stockcoils at that gap.

if u gap them too low u lose alot of power. too big a gap and u will blow out the spark and have bad misfires under higher boost.

But if your car is missing and you don't have an ignition amplifier on there then you will need to gap your plugs lower.

If you run the DLI ignition module then you can run the stock gap at 30-33 psi with no problem.

yes but would you be gaining anything from more gap as from what i em now at 20-22 but i should be at 25-28 will i see a lot of power lose, and or mph or track time? and say 26 i also still not brakin up on high boost.

it also depends on what kind of plug you use( eg. stock, ngk etc.)and the kind of plug, iridium, copper, silver etc.I know some tuners (shops) recommend ngk,s BR7 ES, BPR 7 ES gapped at 26-28

Does it matter if you go with a colder plug? I am getting ready to change out my plugs (at 50k miles), so this thread looks good so far. I have stage 4 equivalent mods.

.020-.022 is definiely way too tight. I run .027 on stock ignition and its fine. Youre going to lose decent power with it that low.
