Dave, the Second Place AD should be listed as myself, Aaron Woloszyn. The guy in that spot now was mis-classed. At least that's what you told me when you gave me the 2nd Place trophy after calling me to the Cust. Service building.

Just looking out.

Aaron,

I was originally wrongly placed in EVO class. As obviously this isn't an EVO:

I knew I was in second place, but didn't realize that the trophy that they gave me was for AE class. Once I realized the mistake, I notified David and turned in my trophy, so he was able to give "my" trophy to its rightful owner (Mike Harrison). I did this during one of the cleaning delays on Sunday afternoon, so David wasn't aware of this mistake earlier.

By chance, I ended up placing in the same, second place, in AD class! David said he would send me a replacement trophy because he didn't want to take away anyone's trophy ;). I was so happy to hear that my daily driven 2G, with stock exhaust, was fast enough to win 2nd place in EVO class, that didn't even care about the delay! :)

Was a awesome weekend overall and it was amazing to face Jim Hutte in his Talon in the 11.50 Index class where I edged him out at the finish line by .03 seconds after he beat me last year in the finals!

The Max Effort / Auto-x events had a great turn out and I met a bunch of cool people throughout the day. The Max Effort Evo class (ME) was very competitive, although it would be great if we had a way to check results beyond the top 2 slots in each class to see where we ended up. I think my lap times were somewhere in the low 74.x range and my drag racing portion I managed 11.7x after fighting some overpowered clutchpack issues with my SST transmission. My last run auto-x run forced me to basically abort as it wouldn't let me choose 2nd gear after a strong launch, apparently the 5 years of drag racing, time attacks, and auto-x runs have made it trickier to deliver 390 whp unless I reduced 1st gear TPS settings much farther than I had set them.

I'm still looking forward to compete in a Max Effort class next year if you can find a way to park all the spectators in overflow parking areas instead of the auto-x infield. I didn't think the Budweiser side of the parking lot was overflowing until Sunday, but if there is any way to keep the Max Effort / Auto-x classes running on Saturday for next year please do so! It is nice to have track workers call in cones and reset the course as needed, but I'm pretty sure we would have volunteers willing to do that in exchange for a front row view of the track if they could be rotated out at least every hour. At the very least the competitors would be willing to work the course if it came down to it if this portion of the event needs to at least break even cost wise.

Leon is correct. I had him in the wrong class and when he got moved he actually bumped you out of 2nd, rather than upset anyone and take away their trophy I am having Leon's new one made for him.

Thanks for the trophy, David! I didn't expect it this quick with all the stuff you have to deal with right now!

No problem! Sorry I got it all mixed up in the first place!
